This week we received produce from Hungry Harvest which consisted of a variety of fruits that we used to make fruit pizza. We made the crust from scratch using an oatmeal cookie recipe and the “sauce” was made with greek yogurt, orange peel zest and some cream cheese.
Our focus this week was on decorating and plating food for special occasions. The Wednesday class will be making “Spooky fruit” in anticipation of Halloween.
On Wednesday we divided the group into two teams- one making smoothies (using Microgreens) and one making spooky fruit.
